You will need- 200g butter or margarine, softened
- 200g caster sugar
- 250g porridge oats
- 80g plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp ground cloves
- 100g cinnamon
- 150g California Raisins
- 3 tbsp milk

Method- Set the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas 4. Line a baking sheet with non-stick paper.
- In large mixing bowl, blend together butter and sugar; beat well until smooth and soft.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, cloves and cinnamon. Add to the bowl with the oats and raisins. Mix well. Add the milk and stir to mix to a soft dough.
- Divide the dough into 4 portions. Shape one portion into 10 x 15g or 2.5cm balls. Press each ball flat with the hands.
- Place apart on the baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Repeat with remaining mixture. Cool then remove to wire rack until cold.
